Dukes of Prunes (album: Absolutely Free 1967):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7qbMnZe_0k

A moon beam through the prune In June

Reveals your chest I see your lovely beans

And in that magic go-kart I bite your neck

The cheese I have for you, my dear

Is real and very new

Prune! (pa-da-dah!)

If it is a real prune Knows no cheese

(cheeky chanky, cheeky chanky)

And stands (Oh no!)

Taller or softer than any tree (or bush)

And I know The love I have for you

Will grow and grow And grow, I think

And so my love I offer you

A love that is strong A prune that is true

Lalalalalala...lalalalalaaa

My darling, you mean so very much to me,

I love you so deeply

It just makes me...

Duke, duke, duke, duke of prunes, prunes, prunes

I'll never forget you darling...

And you'll be my duchess, my duchess of prunes

La meilleure parodie:

Hey Punk, where you goin' with that flower in your hand?

Well, I'm goin' up to Frisco to join a psychedelic band.

Hey Punk, where you goin' with that button on your shirt?

I'm goin' to the love-in to sit & play my bongos in the dirt.

Yes, I'm goin' to the love-in to sit & play my bongos in the dirt.

Hey Punk, where you goin' with that hair on your head?

Hey Punk, where you goin' with that hair on your head?

I'm goin' to the dance to get some action, then I'm goin' home to bed.

Brown shoes don't make it (Absolutely Free 1967)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxODte13OYg

Brown shoes don't make it

Brown Shoes don't make it

Quit school, why fake it

Brown shoes don't make it

TV dinner by the pool

Watch your brother grow a beard

Got another year of school

You're okay, he's too weird

Be a plummer

He's a bummer

He's a bummer every summer

Be a loyal plastic robot

For a world that doesn't care

That's right

Smile at every ugly

Shine on your shoes and cut your hair

Be a jerk-go to work

Be a jerk-go to work

Be a jerk-go to work

Be a jerk-go to work

Do your job, and do it right

Life's a ball

TV tonight

Do you love it

Do you hate it

There it is

The way you made it

A world of secret hungers

Perverting the men who make your laws

Every desire is hidden away

In a drawer in a desk by a Naugahyde chair

On a rug where they walk and drool

Past the girls in the office

We see in the back

Of the City Hall mind

The dream of a girl about thirteen

Off with her clothes and into a bed

Where she tickles his fancy

All night long

His wile's attending an orchid show

She squealed for a week to get him to go

But back in the bed his teen-age queen

Is rocking and rolling and acting obscene

Baby, baby. ..

Baby, baby. . .

Cimmie then cakes, uh!

If I do I'm gonna lose my...

And he loves it, he loves it

It curls up his toes

She wipes his fat neck

And it lights up his nose

But he cannot be fooled

Old City Hall Fred

She's nasty, she's nasty

She digs it in bed

That's right

Do it again, ha

And do it some more

Hey, that does it, by golly

And she's nasty for sure

Nasty nasty nasty

Nasty nasty nasty

Only thirteen, and she knows how to nasty

She's a dirty young mind, corrupted

Corroded

Well she's thirteen today

And I hear she gets loaded

If she were my daughter, I'd...

What would you do, Frankie?

If she were my daughter, I'd ...

What would you do, Frankie?

Check this out

Smother my daughter in chocolate syrup

And strap her on again, oh baby

Smother that girl in chocolate syrup

And strap her on again, oh baby

She's my teen-age baby

She turns me on

I'd like to make her do a nasty

On the White House lawn

Smother my daughter in chocolate syrup

And boogie 'till the cows come home

Time to go home

Madge is on the phone

Got to meet the Gurney's and a dozen gray attorneys

TV dinner by the pool

I'm so glad I finished school

Life is such a ball

I run the world from City Hall

Paroles les plus controversées:

Bobby Brown goes down (Sheik Yerbouti 1979)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mtReYO5BGo

Hey there, people, Im bobby brown

They say Im the cutest boy in town

My car is fast, my teeth is shiney

I tell all the girls they can kiss my heinie

Here I am at a famous school

Im dressin sharp and I'm actin cool

I got a cheerleader here wants to help with my paper

Let her do all the work n maybe later I'll rape her

Oh God I am the american dream

I do not think Im too extreme

An Im a handsome son of a bitch

Im gonna get a good job n be real rich

(get a good

Get a good

Get a good

Get a good job)

Womens liberation

Came creepin across the nation

I tell you people I was not ready

When I fucked this dyke by the name of freddie

She made a little speech then,

Aw, she tried to make me say when

She had my balls in a vice, but she left the dick

I guess it's still hooked on, but now it shoots too quick

Oh God I am the american dream

But now I smell like vaseline

An Im a miserable son of a bitch

Am I a boy or a lady...i don't know which

(I wonder wonder

Wonder wonder)

So I went out n bought me a leisure suit

I jingle my change, but Im still kinda cute

Got a job doin radio promo

An none of the jocks can even tell Im a homo

Eventually me and a friend

Sorta drifted along into S&M

I can take about an hour on the tower of power

Long as I gets a little golden shower

Oh God I am the american dream

With a spindle up my butt till it makes me scream

An I'll do anything to get a head

I lay awake nights sayin, thank you, fred!

Oh god, oh god, Im so fantastic!

Thanks to freddie, Im a sexual spastic

And my name is bobby brown

Watch me now, Im goin down,

And my name is bobby brown

Watch me now, Im goin down, etc.

Je suis en train de lire l'autobiographie de Zappa et c'est vraiment excellent. Surtout drôle en crisse. Au début du livre, il parle de la rumeur selon laquelle il aurait manger de la merde sur une scène:

"The other fantasy is that I once took a shit on stage. This has been propounded with many variations, including (but not limited to):

[1] I ate shit on stage.

[2] I had a 'gross-out contest' (what the fuck is a 'gross-out contest'?) with Captain Beefheart and we both ate shit on stage.

[3] I had a 'gross-out contest' with Alice Cooper and he stepped on baby chickens and then I ate shit on stage, etc.

I was in a London club called the Speak Easy in 1967 or '68. A member of a group called the Flock, recording for Columbia at the time, came over to me and said:

"You're fantastic. When I heard about you eating that shit on stage, I thought, 'That guy is way, way out there.' "

I said, "I never ate shit on stage," He looked really depressed—like I had just broken his heart.

For the records, folks: I never took a shit on stage, and the closest I ever came to eating shit anywhere was at a Holiday Inn buffet in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 1973."

UP!
